Codex of Warfare
The Codex of Warfare generates Sparks through successful hits in combat.
The Codex uses a 5-slot system:
- 3 Core Abilities (always active)
- 2 Bolt-On Abilities (customizable)
Core Abilities
| Name | Effect |
|---|---|
| Frenzy | Increases attack speed and damage. |
| Fortify | Reduces incoming damage temporarily. |
| Cleave | Hits multiple enemies in front. |
Bolt-On System
The last 2 ability slots can be filled with Bolt-On abilities, unlocked based on your weapon specialization.
👉 You can equip only 2 Bolt-On abilities at a time, even if you unlock more.
Sword Bolt-Ons (Swordsmanship)
Unlocked through Swordsmanship:
| Requirement | Name | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 90.0 Swordsmanship | Execution | Deals increased damage to low-health targets with HPs < 40%. |
| 100.0 Swordsmanship | Rally | Restores stamina and a small amount of health on hit. |
Dexxer Bolt-Ons (Fencing)
Unlocked through Fencing:
| Requirement | Name | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 90.0 Fencing | Flurry | Rapid strikes that increase hit chance and attack speed. |
| 100.0 Fencing | Evasion | Temporarily increases dodge chance and movement responsiveness. |
Tank Bolt-Ons (Macefighting / Parrying)
Unlocked through Macefighting or Parrying:
| Requirement | Name | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 90.0 Macefighting / Parrying | Bulwark | Significantly reduces incoming damage for a short duration. |
| 100.0 Macefighting / Parrying | Taunt | Forces nearby enemies to focus you and reduces their damage to allies. |
Hybrid Possibilities
You can mix Bolt-Ons if you meet the requirements.
Examples:
- Flurry + Bulwark
- Evasion + Taunt
👉 This allows flexible Warrior builds between offense and defense.
Codex Progression
The Codex of Warfare can be leveled up through combat by defeating monsters and dealing damage.
The Codex will only begin to gain experience once your main weapon skill reaches at least 80.0.
Before that, it remains at Level 0, providing only its base effects.
Codex Leveling System
- Each Codex has a maximum of 10 levels
- Each level grants 3 points
👉 Total points available: 30
Important Notes
- Only 2 Bolt-On abilities can be equipped at once
- Bolt-Ons unlock at 90.0 and 100.0 skill thresholds
- Core abilities are always active
- Codex progression is tied to combat activity
- Your weapon specialization defines your available Bolt-Ons
